Instructions
  1. If you are cooking with fresh ants, start by washing them then brown them with oil in a pan for 10 min.
  2. Once the ants are dry, pound them in a mixer to make them tiny pieces. Set aside for later.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the flour and whisk it together. Keep cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Add the milk and the spices (paprika and nutmeg) and mix readily. Season to taste with salt and pepper and mix again.
  5. Cook for another 10 minutes over low heat while mixing regularly, then turn off the heat.
  6. Add the mixed ants to the preparation and whist together. Your sauce is ready! Pour it on a good steak or on roasted potatoes and be amazed by the flavour!
Recipe Notes

Advice: instead of ants, you can use termites however, as it has a stronger taste, it is recommended to use about three times less.
